Data Breach Policy

Purpose

This policy outlines Coverage Connextion's procedures for identifying, containing, investigating, and notifying affected parties in the event of a data security incident or breach.

Detection and Reporting

All employees and contractors are required to report suspected security incidents immediately to our Security Team. We maintain monitoring systems to detect potential breaches.

Incident Response

Upon detection, our incident response team will contain the breach, assess the scope and impact, preserve evidence, and implement remediation measures.

Notification Procedures

We will notify affected individuals, regulators, and business partners as required by applicable state and federal breach notification laws.

Regulatory Compliance

Notification timelines comply with applicable state and federal regulations, including varying timelines under state breach notification laws.

Post-Incident Review

Following resolution, we conduct a thorough review to identify root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
